Outside In is committed to recognising that day-to-day operations can impact both directly and indirectly on the environment.

We aim to protect and improve the environment through good management and by adopting best practice wherever possible.

Outside In will work to integrate environmental considerations into our business decisions and adopt greener alternatives wherever possible, throughout our operations.

In all our activities we aspire to:

  • Comply fully with all relevant legislation, legal requirements, codes of practice and regulations
  • Prevent pollution to land, air and water
  • Reduce water and energy use
  • Minimise waste and increase recycling within the framework of our waste management procedures
  • Identify and manage environmental risks and hazards
  • Involve customers, partners, suppliers and subcontractors in the implementation of our objectives
  • Promote environmentally responsible purchasing
  • Provide suitable training to enable employees to deal with their specific areas of environmental control
  • Improve the environmental efficiency of our work procedures
  • Establish targets to measure the continuous improvements in our environmental practices

All employees and sub contractors are encouraged to take responsibility for working towards the objectives contained in our policy.

Employees are responsible for:

  • Conducting themselves in a manner that ensures not only their own health and safety but also that of everyone around themĀ 
  • Adopting and maintaining safe working practices in accordance with procedures, policy and workplace instructions
  • Using appropriate personal protective clothing and equipment as required and/or directed
  • Reporting all accidents, injuries, incidents and damage to plant/equipment to management as soon as possible

Outside In considers accident prevention should be an integral part of our lives and work activities and ongoing awareness at home, work, on the road and during leisure activities is vital.
